I am planning my wedding for November, but I can't really seem to think of good colors. Also What type of flowers would be pretty
What are good colors for a november wedding?
what i think of of are the following colors:
1.) oranges (any shade you like can do as long as there is not color "clashing"
2.) a nice rich brown, but not an icky one. One that "says" elegance in a suble and notciable way (hope that made some sense)
3.) a bright orange-red. you want an orange color but you want red in it so it is bright and cheerful.
4.) golden yellows
5.) Maybe even a "spring" yellow??
6.) a subtle light green that can be like a spring "lime green" color...(not sure it that is how i should have described it but i mena a color that is a nice green. also very pale/light, will not clash with any other colors, and also one that not blend into the background (cant think of a better way to word it)
I'll see if i can get onto a paint website to show you teh colors that i think of..best of luck and congrats.
I'd use white roses (i have no idea why but in my head the picture is awsome...) maybe some simple "fall" colored ones. Or you could even go wiht other flowers such as an Iris?? (i'll also add some pics of flowers i can find)
Reply:Sounds like you're in North America! Gold and red are beautiful...pumpkins are nice, too. A good green would be "sage". Chrysanthemums ("mums") are beautiful in autumn and come in all those autumn colors -- red, orange, yellow. Antique gold can make a lovely gown, depending on your skin color!
Reply:a fall color theme would be pretty...golds, dark reds, oranges and browns...ive been to some really pretty fall weddings. Mums are fall flowers and come in tons of colors. Also for centerpieces you can make pretty pumpkins, not like jack o lantern style, but you can carve hearts or stars in them and put candles in them.
Reply:I am getting married in November too. My colors are coral, sage, chocolate brown and ivory
Reply:Mmmm, a November wedding, how about red, orange and yellow with a bit of green mixed in.
Roses are classic. They comes in so many different shades.
Reply:Use the colors of autumn! You could also add to your centerpieces by using gourds and mini pumpkins. It will be beautiful!
Reply:burnt orange and sage green with black eyed susans..
Reply:burnt orange, dark brown, dusty rose. Think falls colours. Amber yellows. Have fun planning, sounds like a nice wedding.
