What is appropriate when invited to a wedding and henna but you will not attend the wedding?

The daughter of some good friends of ours will be married inshallah in July. We are invited to the wedding but its in another state and prior commitments will prevent us from attending. She is having the henna here so I will attend inshallah. I am wondering though about a gift. She has a bridal registry so is it appropriate to bring her a wedding gift from her registry to her henna? Or should I just give her money since I am not attending the wedding?

It should be fine if you brought her wedding gift from her registry to her Hennah.

I would of like that more than the money :)

I've always loved the Hennah night :)))

Plz enjoy the Henna, and have lots of fun :))
Reply:I think it's fine to give her a gift, it doesn't really have anything to do with attending the wedding. Really, it's your choice.
Reply:you may send a gift anytime now till the wedding.

Or take it to the mehandi night.
Reply:i think money would be better
