Recipies on candies or truffles for aqua & brown wedding?

I'm planning on giving away boxes filled with chcolates as gifts for my wedding. I would like to make them myself. I found some exquisite boxes for them.

I have ideas to add some brownies but I need recipies for truffles and the like.

Do you have bright ideas on candies how to incorporate the colors into them?

For your aqua, you might try making some mints. Here is a great recipe that is a standard from a long time ago. I like the suggestion one person had of dipping them in chocolate - there are your two colors!

Best wishes for your upcoming wedding! Hope it is a dream come true for you both!

Oh, and another thought might be to contact M%26amp;Ms - they make special colored candies and they might have aqua and your brown ... that would be fun! :)
Reply:i would make a simple fudge cut in small squares dipped in melted chocolate then drizzle on top zig zag with the color you want

16 oz bag semi sweet chocolate chip

14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk

nuts optional

melt chocolate then stir in the milk. This hardens real fast so be prepared to mix in the nut.

for you colors they have candy melts, or use white chocolate and buy food coloring paste (sold at walmart in the craft isle or craft stores with cake decorating supplies)

make chocolate caramel turtles

almond as the legs and drizzle caramel on top allow to cool the drizzle chocolate on top

for the caramel use the ones in the isle where they have the chocolate chip

Truffles

Reply:I would suggest just finding a really simple truffle recipe that has a solid chocolate coating in place of a dusted one.

You could then melt some white chocolate with blue food coloring and drizzle it over the truffles.

This is a good recipe if you are up to it:
