What is the traditional way to celebrate an american wedding?

I want to know about the uses, ways and traditions when it comes to celebrate a wedding in America. Thank you!

What is the traditional way to celebrate an american wedding?
i dont think there really is a traditional American wedding. Most of the traditions in America come from our families' roots (europe, asia, etc) and our individual religions. Here's what I can think of Don't wear white (that's the bride's job) or black (sign that you don't approve of the union). The mother of the bride and the mother of the groom aren't supposed to wear the same color dress. The father of the bride walks the bride down the aisle. Guests who give monetary gifts are usually expected to give an amount at least equally the cost of their plate. At the reception after the ceremony, whenever someone clinks their glass, the newlyweds are supposed to kiss. When the bride and groom exit the church after the ceremoney, all the guests are to be waiting outside and they will either blow bubbles or release balloons when the couple steps out of the church. (They used to throw rice, but I think that got banned because it was bad for birds.... ) My sister just got married a couple weeks ago, so I've got a lot of stuff I can share with you, but I'm not really sure what kind of info you're looking for. Let me know! :)
