What are good colors to use for a spring wedding?

I'm getting married in March 2008 and we are planning on having an outdoor wedding. I was just looking for some good color combo ideas. Thanks

What are good colors to use for a spring wedding?
Spring allows you to do just about anything colorwise....Bright yellow and a sage green are amazing together!
Reply:Take some inspiration from the area of your ceremony site. Are there wildflowers in the area? Generally when I think of spring I think of colors that are light and pastel. Powder pink, sage green, blues, lilac and yellows. It would be gorgeous to match up these colors with white or champagne (with sage green or pink would be perfect).
Reply:Silver is lovely
Reply:I would think any sort of pastels would do...

My wedding was pink, yellow, and blue.
Reply:I'm getting married March 2008 as well, I just picked my favorite color. Started with your favorite and go from there.
Reply:Look at where you chose your ceremony location and see what colors are already there. That should help you decide what colors will be nice.
Reply:Light colors are best...

light pinks, yellows, sages, blues, purples, beige, ... you get the idea...

dont forget periwinkle... you wont go wrong with light colors!
Reply:i think yellow would be a really nice color.. i always think of yellow when i think of spring..

my sister is planning on getting married in spring also..

she's considering using yellow, green, and a burnt orange..

congrats by the way..
Reply:Celadon Green or Sage Green with Pink and Ivory. Gorgeous combo.
Reply:Basically any pastels will work. Try pastel green with ivory...beautiful...or pastel yellow with a pastel green accent. You could even use all the pastel colors. Having one bridesmaid in pastel purple the next in pastel green...pastel blue...pastel yellow...and so one. Then all the bouquets could include flowers in each of these shades. Seen many of weddings with this done and it always looks gorgeous!
Reply:orange green and yellow that always works my cousin zack just got married to girl named lucy
Reply:Honestly, I reccommend choosing a color that sets off your skin tone. Yellow has always been "my color" so I used it and light blue in in all the floral arrangements. Then I found the perfect dress for my maid of honor in pink so that had to come in too. Go with the flow, if you fall in love with something, use it. Your color scheme will come naturally.
Reply:When I think of a spring outdoor wedding, I think of flowers in bloom, cool breezes and fresh air. So I picture color palettes of corals, lt. turquoisy blue, pinks and greens.

One suggestion would be coral and "pool" blue as found here:

http://weddings.theknot.com/theknottv/kn... this is the coral. Just put your cursor over the other color choices and find the "pool" color.

I also think celadon green and a blush pink (or possibly cream yellow) would be beautiful.

Here is a video that shows some wonderful color choices for spring. They are fresh and non-traditional pairings that work wonderfully together. I mean, who would've thought aqua and chartreuse? But it looks fantastic! And check out the lavender and lt. brown combination- very elegant.

Finally, here is a fantastic video that goes into detail on choosing color choices that work well together:

Ultimately, it comes down to what YOU want. Have fun and good luck!
Reply:A mint green mixed with a light peach...

Light yellow and light peach...

Lilac or lavender

Mint green and baby blue

Try to stay away from the chocolates and other bold colors. Spring is more about pastels.
