As I am a girl, tend tyo feel a litl bit self-conscious about eating heartily in public places but I am giving a big present to the wedding couple- something rather costly.
Thanks!
When attending a wedding buffet, how do U eat WELL without being noticed by others around U?
eat as much as you want just dont pile up your plate. go back several times instead.
Reply:well first dont ******* worry about it just eat whatever you want if anyone gives you crap about it...punch em...lol
Reply:Screw it... blame it on the alcohol... tell them you eat like cow when you drink.
Reply:Well, why not just get a normal sized serving of everything your first trip to the buffett, then if you're still hungry, wait until all the other guest have eaten and go back through again.
Reply:As a server, I can say that most people will not notice what you eat. They won't know if you were walking up to the cookie table or having helping #3.
If you are seated at tables, then the people at your table may notice - that's about it. The people at other tables will be watching what THEIR table is eating, if at all.
Most people are more worried about getting their maximum amount of alcohol and won't know if you even ate at all.
Enjoy!
Reply:Eat what you want and don't bother with what other people think!
Reply:if you are attending a buffet type wedding, it is expected that you are ready to eat out heartily, the host will be delighted to see people always returning to have additional servings of the food because they see that their feast is very much appreciated and the food tastes great.
don't be bothered that others may notice you because, most of the people are also getting extra servings, it is wiser to pack up all that you can eat in one trip, it is not wise to come back several times because you may be falling in line again to get the food and you cannot get ahead of the line, some people may be on their first trip only.
when getting your food, choose items that you like and be sure to consume all that is on your plate, its not wise to have leftovers, money is spent on the food and throwing it means throwing the money, besides, thre are people who are not having their 3 square meals a day.
Reply:Are you a fat pig? If not, you can put away all you want with no worries...
If you are a fat pig, everyone in the room will whisper about your fat pigness, and no one will wonder how you became that way.
Reply:A wedding buffet is considered to be a light meal unless it states 'all you can eat' on the invitation, eat before or after the reception otherwise to fill you up, it's the polite thing to do.
Reply:The best thing to do is to take a little bit of everything you like. Or yes, you will look like a pig. You have to remember, no one knows you gave a big gift straight from the Walmart next to the trailer park.
If you don't think you are going to get your gifts worth from the buffet, take the gift back, get something cheap and tacky and take yourself out to eat before you go to the wedding.
Reply:Pick the healthy foods, if none eat smaller portions, simple as that!
Ohhh you mean eat alot....shoot girlfriend just eat. What are they gonna say its a damn buffet.
What does the price of the gift have to do with how much you eat?
Good Luck!
