What the heck do you wear to a casual beach wedding?

I have a beach wedding in two weeks and I have no idea what to wear. I'm not built like a stick ( 5 ft 5 140 lbs)but I'm not huge either (a lot of muscle mass). I just want to look nice and feel comfortable at the same time. Help!

What the heck do you wear to a casual beach wedding?
There are some really cute summer dresses at all the major department stores. Something knee length. If you are like me with broad shoulders and arm muscles, try to find something with a cap sleeve. Shoes should be strappy but comfortable and try to get something with a wedge heel so it's easier to walk in the sand. Hair should be simple and styled so wind doesn't blow it in your face.

Hope this helps!
Reply:What ever you would wear for a sexy summer date if you really wanted to impress a guy.
Reply:a sundress and either flip flops or heels.
Reply:I think a nice, loose fitting white dress, with appropriate shoes, will go well, on the beach. My wife is in the wedding business, and they rent out gowns and tuxedo's for weddings, and do sometimes have them on the beach. Our wedding was casual, as my wife's mother made her a beautiful white dress, and I wore tan slacks, an Aloha shirt, that was white, and slippers,"sandals". We were both comfortable, although we were not on the beach , we were on a private property, on the ocean. I see beach weddings a lot in the summer here in Hawaii, and most of the brides wear, either a nice but comfortable dress, or the traditional wedding gown, and they all look good. Congratulations.
Reply:I see many beach weddings in Hawaii; nearly anything is acceptable. I've seen many brides wear swimsuits with coverups or sarongs, and the brides with full gorgeous trains on the beach and men dressed from lava lavas to formal tuxes. In Hawaii, if you have an afternoon beach wedding aloha wear is fine; that's capri pants, sun dress, casual slacks, etc. If you are in the sand, I would wear sandals or slippers for comfort. Usually, I wear a casual sundress with sandals to such events.
Reply:a long cotton skirt - perhaps with a jagged type hem, sandles, and a top that is MORE than a t-top but less than long sleeves and a high neck --- take a shawl along in case - it can always be tied on the waist for fun.
Reply:Well they have alot of really nice looking dresses at the store White House Black Market. They might be a little on the expensive side, but they have many dresses for different occasions. Look at the links below. These might work. The second link is the best dress I think for a beach wedding.

Reply:a pair of smart white pants would look nice with sandals and a floaty top. Don't forget to take something warm incase the wind comes up - a pashmina wrap would work.
Reply:As long as you don't wear white, anything else is fine. I would go with pretty much any sundress that is out there. Just don't wear white - you can't be in the same color as the bride.
Reply:Wear a cute little casual sundress. They aren't super revealing, but then they don't make you look like a nun. They are stylish and comfortable! the GAP and NEW YORK AND COMPANY have tons of cute ones for good prices!
Reply:where a white sundress. and either wedges or flats, so you'll get lots of compliments and no pain. yu can find these at macys, Dilliards, Jcpenney, etc.
Reply:wow a beach wedding thats nice...never been to 1
Reply:I nice pretty sundress and sandals is fine. Minimal makeup, undone hair- either down or in a ponytail. Maybe a sun hat and a shawl just in case it gets really sunny or cool. A regular casual handbag- not too big. You're lucky- beach weddings are the most relaxed and comfortable weddings.
Reply:just wear a nice, flowy dress with a cute pair of flip flops and you'll be set. people could not help and stare if you coordinate your makeup and hair to go with the look.
