What should of dress should i wear to an abroad wedding?

I am a size 8, skinny and 5ft 6 tall. (blonde hair, blue eyes) I am going to a wedding abroad and would like to buy a dress, however am stuck what to get. Any suggestions?





Obviously it cant be shades of white/beige or cream, and her bridesmaid is wearing pink.

I recommend something simple, smart but casual. A dress would be perfect. Something like a summer dress? It would also depend on where you are going. I know that Monsoon do a range of nice dresses. You could also have a look at Debenhams and Allders. This would mean shopping around a bit. I heard someone bought a nice dress for a wedding from Primark for under a tenner. It also depends on how much you are willing to spend too. There is also the question of footwear: I think that (small) heels are most appropriate for this sort of event.





One idea I can suggest is that you could ask shop consultants for advice on what is most suitable for this sort of event.





You could also bring a shawl for the evening, or a small jacket, if you feel this is necessary. Another suggestion that I can make is that you could browse round the shops online, this may give you a few ideas and suggestions.

Reply:Have a look in Coast, they have some strapless dresses in quite a light fabric (good if it's hot) which would be ideal. Going by your description, I'm sure you'd suit a prom dress style. Failing that, Debenhams and John Lewis have a huge range of dresses that would be perfect for a wedding in hot weather. Good luck!

What kind of wedding are you going to? It would be nice if you could wear formal elegant clothes of that country and still feel like a star of the crowd.
