What should I wear to my friends wedding?

The wedding is this Saturday afternoon. Its not going to be black tie. I live in Oklahoma, so its pretty cold right now! Thanks!

What should I wear to my friends wedding?
If its casual, I would just wear dress pants and I really nice shirt. I wouldn't be trying to wear a skirt of any sort' right now.

If you can find a really nice shirt, just nice slacks will compliment that look nicely and you won't look too dressed down or up.
Reply:Well you could wear a suit, with long underwear, take the underwear off if you get too warm,,,go with looking elegant, that always looks good at a wedding, wear a warm coat,,,have tons of fun
Reply:Wear something formal that's long... long enough to fall to the floor.... wearing all black on this occasion is fine because black is considered a dressier color....
Reply:black long sleeve button up shirt, tan khaki pants, black shoes...anything comfortable but warm...
Reply:Don't wear black or white! A nice long sleeve shirt with a sweater that goes along with it and a long skirt or a pair of dress pants (that matches the shirt and sweater)...Since it isn't black tie.
Reply:dress for the occasion. If it's a formal affair, wear something a bit more formal....if it's a little more casual, dress a bit more casual. Unless you ask the bride and groom, I would go by the looks of the reception hall. If it's a ballroom type atmosphere, then go dressier. If it's a bingo hall then it's probably not as a formal event. I'm a photographer and I've seen people come in jeans to a reception and it looks very icky.....especially when you are in a ballroom at a hotel. It really depends on the atmosphere and the crowd. I've done weddings where it was in a small town and the majority of the male guest showed up in "nice" jeans and cowboy boots....and I've been in ballrooms and halls of all sorts. I think if you base your attire on the atmosphere you'll do fine. If nothing else....a black dress is always appropriate!
Reply:A dress definitely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Anything would work!! It is an afternoon wedding, so just dress nicely. You could do a sweater, skirt, and boots...I would wear a skirt/dress as opposed to pants, but wear what makes you feel good!
Reply:u can wear a cocktail dress...
Reply:wear a nice party frock but tone it down with a shrug or blouse over the top, if the evening guests are dressier than you you could sharp wip the shrug/blouse off.
Reply:a dress!!!!
Reply:something like a tube cocktail dress...and seeing that its cold you can probably wear a bolero or a shawl or a sweater w/ it....nordstroms has some good ones...and if you want a cheaper one try penny's or macy's GOOD LUCK :)

*something like the link
Reply:a special dress w/ a fancy sweater in case it's cold
Reply:Wearing a nice pair of warm tights under a dress or skirt will keep your legs warm on a cold day. Also it would be a very good idea to wear a pair of flats. Your feet will be hurting at the end of the day if you wear heels. Wearing flats will keep your feet comfortable all day right through all the dancing.
