What do i wear to a february wedding in london?

I am from San Francisco, and i will be attending my cousins wedding in london at the beginning of February. I am at a total loss for what to wear, because i know it will be cold. Do i where a dress, or do i wear nice pants and shirt? I am aware that i will have to wear a heavy coat, but what can i wear to stay warm but look nice?

Thanks for all of your help!

Wear a nice dress (try and get a long sleeve one, maybe an elegant sweater dress cinched at the waist with a thick belt) team your dress with some black opaque tights and nice high heels (I wouldn't recommend stilletos cus it could be icy.)

Team your dress with a nice warm peacoat and a scarf.

You could wear trousers if you want in which case go for a ncie wide leg pair with a nice white blouse tucked into it with a cute cardigan, boots and a pendant =]
Reply:February here in London can be very cold. The trick to surviving cold snaps is to wear lots of tight fitting layers. You are not going to be out of doors for very long, so I would not worry too much about 'freezing'.

The day-time temp here in London now is hitting about 50 degrees Farenheit - not sure what that is in Centigrade, but think it's about 10-C or so.

Reply:try to be what you want but also think about your health.
Reply:wear a dress but wear tights to keep your legs warm. also, don't wear any super bright colors.
Reply:A raincoat
Reply:wear a dress. don't limit yourself to pants/shirt. definitely take a pashmina and wear heels. and if you're single, as an added bonus, you'll look hot for the single males. think "dance partners"!
Reply:hello

well dont change your ideas to the weather

think about a dress, ok it woould be too cold to wear on its own

but add some tights, a cardigan or a shrug to it

you will be much warmer and still look very nice
