How can I make my short hair cut look formal for a wedding?

I just got my hair cut into an inverted bob, and it's adorable, but I am the matron of honor in a wedding in a few weeks and I need it to look like I spent good money on it, without actually spending the money. I am going to try to get a super skinny curling iron and play with it, but I am open to other suggestions. My hair is blonde, and the longest part of it is to my chin. Thanks!

definatly curl it. Curl some pieces in small tight curls and others in bigger looser curls. You may need someone to help you with this as your hair is so short. After the curling, spray some light hair spray, and run your fingers through it. It'll look great, and you can do it.

it'll look kind of like this.. http://www.hairfinder.com/celebritypictu...
Reply:Ahhhh inverted bobs are soooooo cute.

To make a sophisticated look try pulling up the front from your chin line to the crown and secure it there with clips...then put a nice decorative clip over the crown of your head that will

overlap and hide the clips used to hold up the longer pieces.

Let the back straight as you normally would. Try Sally's beauty supply for your decorative clip. Baby's breath is always a good way to go for a wedding.
Reply:curl only some back hairs.let yr front hair staight.put some ornaments in it.it will look gorgious
Reply:get layers and angled bangs to go with it=]
Reply:dont curl it, blow dry it add some volue, buy some really preety clips for ur hair matching the dress and be creative, you will look so cute, and dont worry its not spending good money on the look, it depends if the cut looks like it was spent on
Reply:i use to have the same haircut !!!!!!!!!! lol !!!!!!!!!

hope they work!!!! good luck and congrats on the weddding!!!
Reply:Try gentle curls and a little sparkly headband or tiarra or clip. It sounds like it would be cute.

Good luck!
Reply:If you have bangs, side swipe them to one side. Secure it with a hairpin that accents your dress.
Reply:I would stick with the supper duper skinny curling iron.

Style the back by seperating small sections of the hair and curling it under with the iron. I woluld then get some sort of pretty hair orniment, such as a few glitter clips, take a few strands of hair and pull them away from your face with them. Curl the front either with a few spirals or bob it under.

I used to have short hair and went through similar problems.

Tip: Make sure that you use a wide toothed comb after dousing your hair with hairspray in the back. It seperates the curls, making it look like it took forever to curl the tiny little sections.

Good Luck!
Reply:I would keep it really simple... I'm guessing the dress is very pretty so you don't want to go overblown and have it all too busy.

Check with your stylist.. lots of times they will do a quick fix for you when you're doing the wedding thing. Or check with the bride who will be doing her hair that morning. Lots of times, the whole wedding party will get their hair done at the same place.
Reply:Stick a fresh flower behind your ear. Something like this but maybe a simpler flower.

Reply:Try hot curlers, and put it in curls. Then pull some up from each side into a nice hairclip on top.
Reply:With a bob, it is a very versatile haircut, you can curl it under or over. You can have it spiraled or if you wanna add a little length to have it pinned up, I suggest adding some hair extensions.
Reply:My hair is short and what I had done was twistys. I did it all the way around to the middle so I could put it all in to a pony tail.... instead of a pony tail you could (using the small curling iron) curl them,. If you cant do twistys yourself go to different hair places and ask all the hairstylists (the one girl who did mine charged 20$.) If you cant find one that will give you a good price. Ask someone who has it done. The guy I worked with his wife does braids and his niece does twistys. Everyone loves under the table money
Reply:get the front part of your bangs and pull them back so their kinda poofy...sry its kinda vague..usually celebrities like hillary duff or jessica alba do it..ill try to find a pic if i can

ok here:http://editorial.gettyimages.com/Search/...

thats a link to it..see how her hair's pulled back? it looks good on both short and long hair.

ok well hope that helped :)
Reply:first of all have a cute formal dress then make ur hair straight
Reply:My friend has hair like yours and for her banquit she had a simple silver pin. She took one side of the front (the thicer side), and swept it bak (not tight but so that it almost looped bak). It looked simple but lovely. Curling short hair can make you look very young so maybe not the best idea. Hope you have a good time , xxxx

Reply:for a girl i'll say its better for the curles and apply some gell for it to shine and look presentable and believe me u'll be the hOtest!!!.and for a guy its better to apply gell on them and put evrythang down backwards its cute.
Reply:The best thing to do before being in a wedding, going to a prom, or any fancy affair, is to just wear your hair as you always wear it. Wash and style it and maybe add some pretty clips that match your outfit....but one mistake women make is to get their hair made up for an occasion in a different manner than what they usually wear their hair..and they end up not being happy with it.
