What Makeup Should I Wear to a Wedding?

I'm attending a wedding in mid-June, wearing a medium green, halter, knee-length dress, with gold shoes and a necklace. I have long light brown hair with blonde highlights, and hazel eyes. I'm planning on wearing my hair up, and curly.

What Makeup Should I Wear to a Wedding?
you and i both!!! only... im IN the wedding... but to the rehersal dinner, im wearing a green dress, halter, cocktail length, with gold strappy shoes and accessories! ah yes, great minds think alike. ahem... did you get your dress from Lord and Taylors? if so... you are my double! lol

anyways.. i suggest staying away from the red lip/smoky eye combination. itll be a hot summer day anyways. go as natural as you can! id suggest a shimmery peachy blush and matching lip tint, perhaps in berry, and use a soft gold eyeshaddow. it will be so pretty!
Reply:with the description of your hair %26amp; outfit, i would suggest a fool-proof idea, that you start off by putting emphasis on your eyes. keep your skin smooth, light blush only on the apples of your cheeks to keep it natural, and a clear gloss or nude lipstick.

to emphasize your eyes, no matter what color scheme for shadow you chose, all you have to do is take a dark (coal, noir, blacks %26amp; browns work best) eyeliner or shadow-liquid, powder doesnt matter they all achieve the same effects-take that dark color and apply a fine line to the outer corners of both your top and bottom lids.

i suggest also, keeping the colors to a minimum (a gold or shimmery neutral applied to the inner corners and smeared across the top lids would be elegant) in order to make the darkened corners %26amp; eyelashes really pop. also for the mascara, my personal fave is lash architect by loreal-apply two coats to top %26amp; one coat to only outer corners of bottom.

just try to keep it simple, but fun-sexy and dont out-do the bride!! lolhave fun at the wedding %26amp; take lots of pictures of how the makeup came out!! :) goodluck.
Reply:MAC makes a beautiful green shadow called Swimming that would look beautiful on your lower lids. It would really highlight your eyes and dress. Top if off with a soft grey eye liner and a black mascara. Then a sweep of bronzer across the apples of your cheeks and a sheer gold lip gloss like MAC Vibrational.
Reply:well it depends on what color your dress is but i think pink cause it goes real good and for you hair i would do corn rolls
Reply:You should go light on the make-up. You don't want to overshadow the bride.

For eye shadow, you should defintaly go with something that complement's your eye's. If you have green in your eye's, since you have Hazel, you can put a light green on your eye's, which with both complement your eye's and dress.

For Mascara, you can use black and also, curl your eyelashes up. I always thought that was really beautiful.

For Blush, you should use a light pink, which will look beautiful and bring out your whole face.

For lip stick/lip gloss, you a light pink. It's always beautiful and goes together with everything!

I hope I helped!

And have fun at the wedding!

PS: If you go to the Cover Girl website, you can make a model of yourself and try on different make up!
