The ceremony is just after lunch and a party at the parents house straight after. The couple were already married in Vietnam and now are having a wedding back at home in Australia. It is spring here now.
What should I wear to a wedding in a park?
Well since its still kinda cool and very unpredictable at the moment! I'd say wear a dress just below the knee, something simple preferably in a nice pastel or pale colour. Some flats or a nice sandal with a bit of a kitten heel, and a cardigan. You should keep your makeup light and simple and hair down, or with a nice clip.
Reply:Maybe a knee length or mid-calf dress. Any colour or print should look fine, but dark colours like plum etc may look a bit too harsh for an afternoon at the park.
If the family is predominantly Asian, it might be nice not to show too much skin, bring a shrug or chiffon/organza shawl in case you feel the need to cover up. If you want to dress up with an Asian motif, may I suggest a short Chinese cheongsam or an Vietnamese ao dai.
Wear a nice hat or a flower pinned behind the ear, it'll look fantastic.
Reply:I would say light, airy and flowy and flat shoes or your going to constantly be getting your heals stuck in the grass~!
