I am looking to open up my own Company as a Wedding Consultant in the next 2 years but would like to work under someone until I can get my startup capital together. I need to learn how they handle pressure and how I can be the best wedding planner I can be. Where would I even search for that?
How would I find an internship in the Wedding Industry in Dallas?
There are several wedding and party planning companies in Dallas. Start with an internet search. If you go to a florist or bakery they may have lots of ideas of who is in this business. Also if you go to any of the prominent and popular wedding facilities in town (South Fork, etc) they may have names of planners. Wedding photographers, too, may have a list of people they frequently do work for.
Also there are companies that hire temporary waiters and bartenders for big events and you might sign on with on of those.
