I recently became engaged. The problem is I am having difficulty planning the wedding because he is Muslim and I am Christian. We also live in two different countries. I don't know what is suitable at the wedding.
Any ideas on how to plan a wedding involving to different religions?
A friend of the family was in a similar situation. He was Christian and his bride was Buddist (if I'm not mistaken). They first held a Christian ceremony with his family, then everyone went to the Buddist ceremony, then celebrated afterward. Everyone had a great time and it was a great way to involve and join both families.
Reply:Combine both of your religions into one ceremony. I have seen that there have been two officiants at wedding before because of this.
Reply:Have an interfaith wedding. You can combine customs from both religions into the ceremony.
My future brother in law and his wife did this (he is Catholic, she is Jewish) and it turned out really nice.
